Is that the new plan? Send more Americans to Iraq and align with the Shiites, who support the militias, and stamp out the Sunnis?
That might work and give us the opportunity to cut and run and declare victory ~ put Iraq back like it was, just with a different bunch running it.
But..the Mid East countries tolerated Saddam, the Bathist darling of the Sunni. Will they stand by and watch? Nuh uh. Only in Iraq and Iran and 2 smaller countries in the world do Shiites out number the Sunnis. The Muslim world is 85% Sunni.
I once read that the neocon plan was to "clean up" Iraq then on to Syria, Lebanon, Libya, back to Iran and then Sudan and Somalia. Now I wonder. Is the plan now to start all out war in the Middle East?
Jesus, does Bush read anything besides George Washington? Does he ever look at the Bible! That's where End Times will begin. |

Nah, not yet. We still have the 2nd Coming, Tribulation , Gog vs Magog etc.
There's plenty of time. What's the rush?
Living easy, living free
Season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Don't need reason, don't need rhyme
Ain't nothing I would rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too
I'm on the Highway to Hell.
Hey Daddy, look at me
I'm on the way to the Promised Land
Wouldn't it be cool if in this speech the Prez is supposed to deliver soon that he forego the usually BS, and just sing us a song? |

Well, maybe he should..
I hate to act like a conservative, you know like Mel Gibson, who/whom I loved who all along was just another poser. Passion of Christ. Ha. More like the Passion of Carousal. Who cares what he thinks of Jews or anyone. What I want to know is what is a married man, with 7 children doing down at the bar at 2 AM? Passion of Playgirls. Holy Mel.
I'm through with him forever. He is no better than Dick Cheney who would shoot a man and then try to blame the man and huddle with his lackeys trying to figure a way to cover it up.
I think more of the self-destructive Kurt Cobain than both of them because he was not a hypocrite. Maybe I could cut the two a little slack if they had been singers (although I never could Ashcroft, who was a singer lol Sing about God, family and country. The Great White Hope Republican, who Bush appointed as top law enforcer in America in return for campaign cash from Ken Lay and that sort and who recluses himself from corruption investigations lest we find out he was right in the thick of it. But the people of Missouri knew. Ashcroft was the incumbent senator, beaten by a dead man. No wonder the Republicans lost on November 7.
But I ramble. My problem today is Britney Spears. I liked her. A plain little Louisiana girl that the promoters and marketers picked up during a void of the need for a pop star and made her one at 17. Hit Me Baby, One More Time. No she couldn't sing but she had a cute squeal muffled behind the great band they put together for her. She was an American girl. She was pop, not rap. I was pleased. And they gave her some new boobs. I was like whateva.
My first disappointment was a concert in Birmingham where she was caught lip syncing late in the show. And booed. But she was still rising. Then came the Pepsi commercials of flash cuts, cute but we know it was because she had no talent.
Then Britney took it on her own to go downhill, thinking she was going up hill, and we saw the bad little girl, or immaturity - you decide. She married her "Hometown sweetie" on Saturday night in Las Vegas and had it annulled on Monday haha. Then she married another dude ,had 2 babies and divorced him, then started complaining about the media won't leave her alone, and followed that each time in some outrageous outfit or place to attract the media's attention. The end came with me when she said she had been cramped for 2 years and we were going to see her a lot more of her from now on. And she shows up flashing her bare coochie in public. And then rubbing it in our face like with this stuff http://www.britneyspears.com/
And now she's elects to run with 2 of America's classless bimbos Paris Hilton and Lindsey Lohan...down there in the dirt like a celebrity megachurch preacher.
Whatever, I'm done.
Sorry to act so much like a social conservative. |

Apparently, the Mission Accomplished banner that the White House put up
on the Abraham Lincoln was really about George Bush's desire to dress
up like a real fighter and fly in a jet and land on a carrier like real men do.
And he did it..and since there was some confusion about it, the best thing to do was remove it

Nope, he doesn't look as happy as he did with his friend, Abramoff.
Quite a love affair with a guy he hardly knew ~ to hear him lie about it.
Exposed again (like Ken Lay, who Bush also wore a blue dress for)
he is out trying to buy the pictures up lol.

Cool set up for our Beloved Christian Commander-In-Chief.
Making pix with crooks so they can impress their clients in exchange for a bag of money.

I, for one, do not like it because what IF I had been a silly, naive, young girl "in love"
and I had made revealing pix..and like Bush, thought they would never surface
I wouldn't have the money to buy them back. |

Last year, Bush said we can't reduce the number of American troops in Iraq because they needed our support as they build an army to maintain peace. And we couldn't send more, because that would send the message that we don't have faith in their ability to govern themselves. Not too hot , not too cool....just right said Mr Goldilocks.
But now over in the new Mid-East democracy, the Iraqi government is saying that U.S. troops should be reduced and that Bush should be supporting them, and not making statements that encourage the insurgents.
Right about the time of the invasion of Iraq, Bush was briefed on division in the Islam world and stated that he didn't know that..... "I thought a Muslim was a Muslim." Well, he knows it now. In his speech, he talked about the enemy: Iran networks,al quida foreigners, the Sunni insurgents and the Shiite militias.
Whoa! says the Iraq government , we aren't going to rub out ourselves - the Iraqi militias are the Iraqi army, and the army is needed to stamp out the Sunni Muslims.
So, Plan B or the new Bush plan to follow this one could be to throw his support behind the Shiite government, crush the Sunni, pick the next Saddam and declare victory in our time.
Oops, Sunni Saudi Arabia and other Mid-East counties are already publicly stating what they will do "after the Americans leave" The Shiites may be the majority in Iraq and Iran, but the Sunnis dominate in the world.
Whatever, we are being played like a pawn now. The Shiite government wants our money and tech support in building their army and then get out of their country. If The Decider persists, we may soon be the lone enemy. Over there "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and we could see the Muslims unite to battle the invaders in the name of Allah before they resume their internal wars to dominate each other

Our mercenaries in Iraq
The president relies on thousands of private soldiers with little oversight, a disturbing example of the military-industrial complex. |

It just makes you wonder because all you can do is hope (Bush needs to start a Hope-based Initiative) You can assume hopefully that what they do is the best thing to do for the country or its the only way to get the job done..and they do it right.
Here's something that seems a little unusual to me but may have been going on since President Eisenhower's warning and may well be the only way to do it in our system.
Booze Allan Hamilton Inc., does $3.7 billion in defense and intelligent consulting. Pres. Bush's selection for his new spy chief is a retired admiral who makes $2 million a year and has worked for Booze for 10 years as a consultant to some of the same senior military and intelligent officials he will supervise if the Senate confirms him.
So, I guess I can just hope that when it comes to the military its different than everything else because that's about defending the country..unlike oil, drugs, banking, etc.
I'll never forget Rep. Billy Tauzin, the (supposedly) champion of the people against the evil drug industry.
WASHINGTON — Retiring Rep. Billy Tauzin, R-La., who stepped down earlier this year as chairman of the House committee that regulates the pharmaceutical industry, will become the new president and CEO of the drug industry's top lobbying group.

Bush has a sudden desire for $100 Billion for his War On Terror in Afghanistan and Iraq for this year, and another $145 Billion for next year.

haha Bush just doesn't get any respect from the peasants anymore
And now here comes the liberal supreme court deciding that the Decider does have the authority to regulate heat-trapping gases in auto emissions.
Of course, he doesn't have to do anything, but with this decision the legal action to follow when he doesn't can't do anything but hurt those he represents ~ the wealthy.
So I figure he will soon announce he has been for EPA oversight all along then go into action.
But what will he do?
Declare it a terrorist plot?
Call in Big Oil to take care of it?
Outsource it to India? China?
Contract with Halliburton of Dubai? |
