Instructions: Print this out and then use it as a step by step tutorial. We have done our best to make this as idiot proof as possible. This tutorial was designed for people who know nothing about computers. If you are as dumb as a brick with computers. This tutorial is what you need to use sheck.com e mail.
Double click "Outlook Express" or "Outlook". This is located on your desktop. Please note that Outlook Express and Outlook 2003 setup in the same manner.
If this is the first time Outlook Express has been used on your computer, a wizard will begin. Skip to #9. Otherwise, continue on to # 3.
Click "Tools" located on the top menu bar in Outlook.
Click "Accounts"
Click "Mail" located on the top of the window that just popped up.
Click "Add"
Click "Mail"
Enter your desired display name in the field provided. This can be anything you want it to be.
Click "Next"
Enter the email address provided to you by us in the field asking for your email address. user@sheck.com
Click "Next"
Make sure that the email server is set to "POP3"
For the incoming mail server enter sheck.com
For the outgoing mail server enter sheck.com
Click "Next"
Enter the account name provided by us in the next field. Your username. user
Enter your password.
Click "Next"
Click "Finish"
Click the account labeled "sheck.com" once and click "Properties" located on the right side of the window.
Click the tab labeled "Servers".
At the bottom of that window, click the check box labeled "My server requires authentication".
Click "Ok".
Click "Close"
Hit send and receive and collect your e mail from sheck.com :-) Don't forget to send a quick one liner to let us know it works webmaster@sheck.com
